Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data:your email address and the workspace created for you. Authentication is handled via our infrastructure provider.
• Your Content:the scripts, voiceover audio, images, video, and other assets you upload, plus the scenes, timelines, and exports generated from them.
• Usage data:projects created, transcription minutes used, storage consumed, and similar metrics used to understand, operate, and improve the Service.
• Device & session data:a device identifier (stored in a cookie), browser/user-agent, and active-session records. We use these to keep your account secure.

ClipCue is set up for clients under a separate commercial agreement, so we do not collect card or payment details through this website.

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To transcribe your voiceover, generate scenes, suggest footage, and build your exports.
• To keep your account and workspace secure.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Your Content to train third-party AI models.

We share data with the following providers only as needed to run the Service. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms and security commitments:

• Supabase:Database and authentication.
• Cloudflare R2:File storage (uploads, asset library, exports).
• Deepgram:Voiceover transcription (audio → text with timestamps).
• OpenAI:Scene planning from transcript text (text only; no audio).
• Pexels & Pixabay:Stock footage search (queries only).
• Vercel:Web application hosting.
• Railway:Background worker hosting (transcription, export).
• Upstash:Job queue (Redis).

When you connect your own stock-provider API keys, those keys are stored encrypted and used only to perform searches you request.

We operate from Pakistan, and our providers may process and store data in other countries (including the United States and the European Union). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. Export packages are retained for the period associated with your plan and may be removed automatically after that window. You can delete projects and assets at any time; when you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records (for example, billing records) by law.

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@getclipcue.com.

We use a small number of cookies, strictly to run the Service:

• Authentication cookies:keep you signed in.
• Device cookie:a random identifier used to recognize your device for security.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, private storage with signed access, encrypted provider credentials, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
